The unfunniest person on my friend's list on their unfunniest day in history would be hilarious compared to "Last Comic Standing".

Marie and I cleaned out the refrigerator last night. And by that, I mean removed everything from inside, washed the shelves and drawers in the bathtub and scrubbed out the interior. We discovered a lot of hair and shredded mozzarella cheese just hanging out.

I'd give nearly anything for a decent orange.

One good thing to come out of my watching every episode of "I Love The 90s" was a new found appreciation for Fiona Apple.

Isn't it weird, the things that lurk in your fridge? I repeatedly find cat hair in mine. CAT HAIR. It's not as though I'm shutting Sera up in there for long periods of time, so I can't figure out how it gets in there!

I know my cat loves to walk into the fridge when I open it. I have to pull her out from behind the milk. I don't understand it.

By which I mean that I have cat hair in my fridge, but I know why.

When 2 was a kitten, I shut her in the fridge 3 times. I wouldn't notice until I was leaving for work, and she wasn't there to see me off. I've also shut her in my dresser for a whole day on several occasions.

(She climbs down into closed drawers so I can't see her and assume she is just in another room.)

Well. You know. Those short periods of time really add up.

I'm reading a book called "Oranges Aren't the Only Fruit." Needless to say, oranges are frequently mentioned. I feel your pain.

About oranges...

if you can find a produce department that ships in naval oranges from South Africa, they are excellent right now.

I'm forced to think about fruit too much.

I appreciate the tip - a bad piece of fruit seems to more readily ruin my day than most things.
