I also wrote this about war. It's not very good.

Terry came into town last night and we headed to Applebee's for dinner. We had the most polite (politist?) waiter I've ever experienced. And for that, we tipped well. I don't like when wait staff expects 15% for simply bring food to the table. Call me snobbish, but a little courtesy goes a long way for me. Marie and I had veggie burgers and Terry had the turkey burger. It was nice.

Eric and Lori arrived around 7:30 with treats in hand. Brian had to work on a paper so he couldn't make it over. The game was entertaining, as Terry was rooting for Donald Driver (his fantasy receiver) and I was rooting for Marty Booker (my fantasy receiver). We played each other this week and he ended up victorious. I had Deuce and Tampa Bay's defense on the bench. D'oh! Oh well, 4-1 isn't too shabby.

I met Marie for lunch today and tonight we're going shopping for a CD/DVD/VHS holder for the living room. My current tower is bursting at the non-existent seams.

I'm in a pretty good mood today. I'm looking forward to going to Jeremy's this weekend for the game. I think Eric and I are riding together so it might be a chance for us to talk again, as he mentioned in an email last week. I'm still going back and forth on the issue.

I think I'm going to bring the camcorder to Jeremy's bachelor party. Just because. I also want to bring it to our family's Christmas get together this year. Something tells me this will by one of my grandparent's last holidays (just a feeling) and even if I didn't feel that way, I still think they make for good memories.
