Overbite Crybaby

I had a dream last night that was incredibly odd. There were all of these people jumping down the equivalent of three stories through this weird hold. I decided to join in, for some reason. I first went around the room and “climbed up” to the second level by pulling myself up with other people’s hair. There were people seated around the room (it was circular) and I just went person to person, pulling on their hair, almost like a ladder and somehow it raised me to the second level. From there, I remember my dad being up on the third level. I had to climb his legs (yeah, I know) to get up through the manhole he was half sitting in. I got halfway up and had to pull myself through and my arms felt exhausted (I’m assuming from all the hair pulling). I finally made it up there and then realized I had to jump down through the hole to accomplish what all of the other people were. I also remember pizza sauce having some significance.

Suffice it to say, I didn’t sleep too well last night.
I surprised myself and got up at 5:30 again today, and spent the time semi-productively. Sorted the items on my dresser (usually my dumping ground for mail and other items of attention) and emptied the dishwasher.
Last night I got some cool mail. I stumbled across www.crimethinc.com and ordered some of their materials/zines/etc. And once again, I was happy to see a personalized note on the envelope from one of their workers. I’m still trying to figure out exactly what they stand for and their purpose, but I’ll have some good reading materials to figure that out.
Also talked with Terry and made some plans for this week. Cribbage and maybe some thrills too.
Before bed, I made our anniversary drink for Marie and me to devour. See, when we were on our honeymoon they had a “Welcoming Drink” that we got when we arrived, a fruity frothy concoction that we both had multiple times each day we were there. As a surprise for Marie, I contacted the travel agency and subsequently the hotel to see about ordering it. I figured it was pre-made as it was always in plastic marked jugs when we ordered it. I luckily found out that it was something they made right there and they gave me the recipe. So, before we went on our trip, I made Marie go into the other room and made a batch. I’ll have to post the recipe; it’s pretty easy and very refreshing. I think it’s the best present I could come up with, in honor of our anniversary. I also got her the collection of books by Brian Andreas (http://www.storypeople.com), which I highly recommend. Marie surprised me with some oils for cooking and fancy dispensers. I think I might need to make some stir-fry soon…
I got married 13 months ago today. And it’s still pretty wonderful.
