Happy Vagina Day!

Hoping that all of you are having a fantastic Valentine’s Day and wooing like you’re supposed to.

Laser tag didn’t exactly happen last night, but we got into a great conversation about spirituality and religion. I was desperately wishing it was Friday night so we could’ve stayed for a few more hours, but alas, we had to depart early.

We’re having a lunch for our departing intern. She’s moving onto bigger and better things (re: a paying job) and any excuse to get grinders is a good one.

Tonight, the continuation of Spring Break 2002 Road Trip planning will, well, continue. I got a great idea from jonnyv to make up some car signs, so I’ll be holding up “Your SUV sucks” and “I’m Not Wearing Any Pants” signs to make the time pass. Philly or bust.

I just got a ‘special delivery’ from Marie, a beautiful plant and box o’ chocolates. Guess who’s in for some lovin’ tonight? Well, hopefully me. Ain’t love grand?

The “Anger” book I’m reading is phenomenal. I should post a paragraph or two. It’s written so simply, yet it just makes so much sense. I was just reading about how eating “angry” food will only bring anger to your life. “Angry” food in the sense of penned in animals with no place to walk and cruelly handled by farmers. I believe (as the book does) that the ‘spirit’ of the food is passed on to the consumer. You may be eating that Big Mac with a smile on your face, but it’s really bad for your body in ways other than just the saturated fat and cholesterol. And slave labor you are supporting. And famine you are indirectly causing. And pollution you are contributing to. And, well, you get the picture. Fab-u-lous.
