Sweet slumber

twicketfaceWell, I finally got a decent night’s sleep. Drifited off around 11 and stayed asleep until almost 5:00. This is progress for me.
Work went on forever and ever. I spent most of the day emailing back and forth to Eric about the PlayStation and my feelings on the matter. Came to a resolution that I wouldn’t use the ill-gotten gaming device from here on out, thus dropping me from the Madden league. No big whoop.
Made a pizza for supper and watched some teevee since Marie was at her first of two evening meetings. She got back around 6:30 and we chatted for a bit. I left at 7:00 to go to the Exclusive Company. Ended up getting three CDs, but one was only $4 so it wasn’t too costly. The $4 CD is a compilation, I’m listening to it right now. Mostly pop-punk music, not bad but nothing standing out as fantastic. The other two CDs I got were Pulley. Self titled and Together Again For The First Time. I always forget how much I like them when I’m at the store, but not last night. The self-titled is quite good, haven’t had a chance to tear into the other one yet.
Made it over to the guys’ and Lori was just leaving. Talked to her briefly and greeted Brian and Eric. Things were a little ‘tense’ at times, but no big deal. I got the Mad Magazine page a day calendar from Eric and it turns out that he already had the Far Side page a day calendar that I got for him, but I think since we had to wait to exchange. I figure he can take it back or give it to someone else, I suppose. Brian didn’t know the situation between Eric and me, but Brian had to work at 9:00, so I gave him a ride to work on my way out the door. I explained the situation to him and I think he understood. Then again, I explained it to him in the course of 6 blocks (he doesn’t live too far from his job) so I might have not explained it all that well. I should see both Brian and Terry tonight, hopefully I can clear the air then.
Today I had training in the morning and an interview after that, both were fine. This afternoon I’ll be working on some Intranet clean-up and cleaning up my desk. I’ve got so much *crap* lying around, it’s a little alarming.
Tonight I think Terry and Brian are coming over (Orange Julius and maybe some Clue), so that should be enjoyable. I always think to do things with Terry but not Brian. Consider it another New Year’s Resolution – spend more time with him.
This weekend should be fun, doing some furniture shopping in Appleton and probably another stop by Kohl’s. I couldn’t find any white socks to my liking the last time we were in Neenah, so maybe Appleton will give us more luck. Hopefully, we can stop by my grandparent’s house as well.

I love getting mail. I think I’ve got a few letters coming my way along with some books that I ordered before Christmas.
I’m going to be the new volunteer webmaster for BB/BS. I’ll share my digital tapestry when it’s up and running.
