I feel like crapanando
Dec. 19th, 2001 09:30 amWell, here I am, home sick. No, not missing my parent's house, I mean I'm at home and I don't feel well. I slept in until 8:30, which is a big deal for me. Once I'm awake, I stay awake even when I can sleep in. I'll try to take a nap later, but I'm sure it won't help. And I have a hole in my warm sock. Sigh.
Last night I went to the library to drop off some books, Camera Casino to drop off a roll of 36 prints (why we use 36 exposure film is beyond me), Exclusive Company to return a CD (Marie bought me Dismemberment Plan's "Change" before she knew I already had it) and get the new Vagrant sampler disc (which I'm rocking out to right now). The new f2f tracks are really different but they are growing on me. Not sure if I prefer them as a 3-piece or not, but then again, no one asked me.
After that I hit Target to get some presents for my department co-workers and some Clearasil for my crater-ridden visage. Also stopped at Culver's to get a chocolate shake. Those jerks switched from pumpkin to egg nog for their speciality flavor, which made me damn near puke.
Spent the rest of the night rocking out to the Vagrant CD with my new headphones and chatting with
vegasdemilo. Interesting, to say the least. Chatting with intelligent people that actively participate in the conversation is all good in my book.
Did a little reading, popped a few NiQuil tablets and hit the hay. Work up feeling better and worse (no constantly drippy nose, but now a sore throat and general feeling of blah). Left a message for my boss that I wouldn't be coming in and went back to bed.
Watched a little Golden Girls this morning and hopped on line. Here I am.
I think I'll do some reading today and probably veg out in front of the TV. Have some laundry to do and write up a grocery list for the party.
I might write more later, but probably not. I'm stuffed up to the point where moving around annoys me. Boo hoo for me.

Sick... bummer
Date: 2001-12-19 09:51 am (UTC)The other CD's that they have released are all good as well. I REALLY like "My Scrapbook of Fatal Accidents" but that is kind of like a "best of..." CD. Burnsy should have a few of their CD's. I hear that "For My Own Special Sweetheart" is really good, and that will probably be the next one that I purchase.
There are so many older CD's that I wanna get.
