You can’t have what you wanted

This day went by rather swiftly. I sorted through the 20 or so resumes that came in over the weekend and got some paperwork done. I remain hot for teacher. I emailed the guys about the Big Brother/Big Sisters bowling tourney coming up in February, so I hope we can form a foursome and tear it up on the lanes. I like to bowl but do it rather rarely.

As creepy as it sounds, I always find myself changing music CDs at 4:30. Everyday, inexplicably I am at the end of a CD at 4:30. I choose not to spend the last 30 minutes at work in silence, so I always put in a new disc. I wonder if this is just a coincidence or I’m making too much out of my clock watching.

I’ve had a dull headache for most of the day, which I can only chalk up to the fact that the Vikings won yesterday. That or my lack of sleep. You pick.

I need to know of a good photo editing software program that will allow me to ‘cut’ parts of a JPG out of one file/picture and ‘paste’ it on the top of another file/photo. Oh, and if it’s free, that would be best. Anybody have any idea?

I’m in the mood for ham roll-ups. Or the veggie equivalent, for sure. Insatiable.

I’ve spent a lot of today thinking about how cool GTA3 is. I had GTA for my computer (the original game), which was a lot of fun. This is about 400 times better. I think all games that are morally bankrupt are fun on some level.

Marie gave me a great haircut yesterday. It’s still a wee bit long on the sides but overall, it’s just what I wanted. I’m such a mop head.

Yes. I had an effing blast. It was so much fun to destroy and race around. I had to be careful driving home afterwards.

Well, we were doing the round robin with the controller (there were 5 of us eager to play), so most of us just did the one where you have to pick up the prostitute and drop her off at the location. Then we found this one place you could go that was like a second level platform that overlooked the town (near the police station). Couple that with the weapons cheat and we were blowing cars and people (and helicopters) up with ease.

wow I never found that part.

my and my friends were doing the same sort of round robin thing, seeing who could get the most police stars lit up before they caught you. No one ever broke four.

I was on a wild police chase for about 15 minutes. They kept ramming into me and flying all about, good thing the reverse is just about as fast as the accelerator.

I've never played anything so wicked fun in my life. I'm really a pacifist, but that just appeals to me on a 'fantasy' level.

I just love the way it makes me talk.

I say things like Iced and Piece when I've been playing it for a long time. And start calling people by gangster names like "big bitch" and "the chuck"

Yeah, we didn't get too much into the lingo, more amused with 'blowing shit up' than anything.
