Anarchy means you litter

twicketfaceHad a pretty good evening last night. After getting home from work, Marie and I decided to get groceries before having supper, since we weren’t in the mood for any of the food we had. So we hit up Pick ‘N Save for another weeks worth of sustenance and came home to three cheese tortellini and two episodes of Home Movies.
I spent the remainder of the evening on line, chatting with my friend Anne and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
fluorescent (my god, I spelled that right the first time!) and wrapping up Marie’s present. I got her the complete works of e e cummings, which is her favorite poet. It’s a tome, like 700 pages or something, so I hope she likes it. Turns out she does, since I let her open it this morning before we both went off to work.
Tonight will be dinner at Cy’s Biestro in celebration of Marie’s birthday (since Thai food is the best) and then a stop off at my parent’s house. I’m looking forward to it.
Just got off the phone with Marie, she got the roses I sent her at work. I was a little worried since I’ve never had flowers delivered before, but this seemed to work out great. Spoiling people is quite enjoyable.
Not much else going on with me here at work. A lot of resumes to sort through and another department meeting cancelled. Sometimes, it just gets to be too much.
Last night I downloaded a kick ass Press Your Luck game (with authentic sounds and such) that rules. I’ll put the link up when I get a chance. Also, I had a program a while back that you could ‘attack’ your desktop (you had a choice of weapons, like a water gun, flame thrower, killer ants, machine gun, etc) and I no longer have it. Anybody heard of it and know where I could re-download it? It was a small program but was rather fun. It had sound effects too. So if anybody knows, drop me a line, otay?
