Zzzzzz. Damn Packers. Another nailbiter down to the wire, and here I am exhausted. It was either go to bed when the game was still on and not be able to fall asleep anyway or stay up to watch the game. Either way, I knew I’d be tired this morning. I’m realizing I need a good amount of sleep to be functional in the morning.

Made my way over to the guys’ around 7:00 last night. I played night was my second Madden game (beat the Cardinals 17-10), I made two more trades (improved my SS and got another great receiver) and watched the Packer/Jags game. Tensions in the house seem to be running a little higher than usual, I hope the roommates last the rest of the year together.

Terry and Brian and I talked about our ‘road trip’ last night and I think it’s something we’re going to do. We’ll go “somewhere” during their Spring Break (probably end of March) for 4 or 5 days. Rent a car, pack it with food and hit the road. We’ll have to get out a map to see where we could go and such, but I think it’ll be a lot of fun. Hoping that the guys will have enough $$ for the trip, but I don’t think it’ll be too expensive. I’m the one with the steady income, so I hope they can both save up, but I think splitting everything 3 ways will make it pretty reasonable.

Had to stop by the library to drop off some books before making it over to the guys’, no big whoop.

My dad called this morning; he found a ‘salvage yard’ that will most likely have the part I need, so we’ll go ‘junk hunting’ on Saturday morning sometime. They are open 8-3, so I should be able to get back in plenty of time for Poker Night, which will start at 6:00.

We’re having Flu Shots at work today, so I get to sit and collect money for 3 hours and make sure people paid to get their shots done. I’ll bring some paperwork along but it’ll probably be boring. Hence the quick update, I’m sure I’ll have stories to share later this afternoon.

Yeah, I think it's 25% medical, 75% mental. If you got a shot, you THINK you'll be healthier and then in turn you will be.

I avoided the needle.

This is wise.
The thing is, the vaccination is only effective for a few strains of virus and there are millions out there.

I think that they do get the most 'popular' ones in the vaccine but a lot of it depends on your health, your choices, the people you are around, your hygine, etc. Some people just get sick no matter what and some don't. I had a bit of a cold a while back, so hopefully I'm safe now.
