Last night I stopped by JCP after work and got a new winter “dress” coat and a pack of tee-shirts. Both were 50% off, so I think it was a good move on my part. Got home and watched a little tv while waiting for Marie to get home from her get together with her Little Sister. Made some supper and caught a new episode of Malcolm in the Middle. I hate the fact that the play them mid-week, as I usually don’t watch TV other than the Simpsons during supper. But, I found it and it was funny, as always. After that I watched two episodes of Home Movies that I taped from Sunday. That show is beyond great.

In between the episodes, I got to talk to [livejournal.com profile] xjustinx. That kid cracks me up. We discussed band names, our favorite lyrics from Young MC’s “Bust A Move”, girl problems (his, not mine) and if Kitt ever told Knight Rider to tuck in his chest hair. This was par for the course.

Did some reading and pretty much called it a night. I’m realizing that my evenings are pretty low key but they are in a good way.

Tonight I’ll be heading to the library. I need some books for the weekend as we are going to Wausau for Marie’s pre-birthday celebration (it’s December 5th). I haven’t been to Wausau since the wedding, so it’ll be nice to see Marie’s mom and Marie’s grandparents again. Probably watch some of the football game tonight and get the invitations finalized. Woo hoo!

Today has been pretty busy at work, doing some reference checks and going to make an offer to a candidate for an administrative position. Took a few more ‘new’ employee pictures and get to update the org chart yet again. Without exaggerating, I’ve updated the org chart at least 20 times this year. Obviously, I have an important role at work.
