Social distancing is my default setting, so I don't think I'll have problems with maintaining shut-in status. I hope to still attend my weekly tennis league and walks around my neighborhood. I can switch to take-out for restaurant meals and normally keep a good amount of food on hand due to being a Costco member.
I went shopping there last Thursday and it felt like the day before Thanksgiving. No TP and limited bottled water but everything else I was looking for I could find. I did have to half-step into the milk cooler to reach back far enough to get a gallon. Stores seem to be restocking on the regular and the initial panic should die down soon. I figure I can make it two weeks before I need to go back to the grocery store.
I'm guessing our annual work trip to Hawaii is going to be cancelled and you wouldn't catch me air traveling these days anyway. CEO floated the idea of just giving us bonuses in the amount of what is usually spent on the trip, which would be great. I'm a little bummed since it is our 20th anniversary as a company so I think there were bigger plans in the making but we can always make them the plan for next time. My folks trip to Europe in May won't happen and I'm really sad for them but it's the right decision.
It was weird having on-line church service this morning but nice to still have that community connection. Schools are closed here for the next two weeks but I'll be shocked if they re-open anytime soon. I worry about those who cannot work from home and are now scrambling for childcare. They'll have regular classes on Monday and then transition to online learning starting on Wednesday. I'm impressed by how quickly they're moving and am sure there will be bumps along the way. Nate seems to be rolling with it just fine.

I hope you're holding up okay.
