I'm nothing if not anal-retentive
Ok, I've been using iTunes for a long iTime and since it's going to be a while until I get an iPod, I've been entering my CD catalog into it in preparation. Some of the songs I imported are unalterable, in that I cannot change the song title/artist/album. I've tried F2 and doing that clickpauseclick technique and it works with 95% of the songs, but not a few of them. Some are WAV files, some are MP3s - they play just fine, but I can't update the info. I've right clicked and selected 'Get Info', but the boxes are grayed-out. What the hell damn fart am I to do? iTunes website is bunk for help, so I turn to you, the smartest person I know.

...and just so you know, after you get your iPod...your life will be forever changed. Any moment without music playing will be torture.
I can't live without that thing...I'm gonna get it engraved.
My computer recognizes it as "Fumundapod".

Not able to change?
Is it possible that the MP3's that don't let you change are older MP3's? That might explain it as well.
That is all the help I can be.

Thanks, yo.
