Well, at least I hope so. Supposed to have a pretty nice weekend and some warmth. Last 16 of 17 days have been below average temperatures, so some heat would be nice! Good sleeping weather but still…

Went to Kohl’s last night to register for some more wedding stuff and also stopped at Best Buy to return the old and get a new scanner. Hoping this one will work out better, but got back too late last night to test it out. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I’m starting to realize the pressures of the wedding with it looming ever closer. I’ve got no doubt in my mind that Marie and I are going to be together and happy for a very long time, but it has been a huge production to get everything together and organized. Kudos to Marie for being the one with the research and smarts to cover all of the bases, but it shouldn’t be this complicated. So much to keep track of, phone calls to make, expenses to bear. Don’t get me wrong, I’m pumped about the wedding and am really looking forward to it, but am also looking forward to it being over and getting on with our lives. Marie has been pretty stressed out with all of the planning and getting things set up, it would be nice for her to have some breathing room.

One thing I’ve noticed about the other journals on here is that people pay very little attention to punctuation and grammar. I realize that it’s a minor pet peeve I have of mine, but there is so much slang and salacious usage of exclamation marks it’s a little unnerving. Now, I’m not casting the first stone here due to my lack of always making complete sentences, but if you have more punctuation than complete words per line, there is a problem. But I know that it is a journal, and if I was handwriting it, there probably would be a lot more doodling and abbreviations. Yeah, whatever.

Random thoughts of the day:
Why am I the most comfortable when the alarm goes off?

I don’t think Timothy McVeigh should be put to death on Monday. How does his death make anything right?

I’m excited as hell to see Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

If anyone has a way for me to stop cracking my knuckles, please let me know.

I think lunch is my favorite time of day.
