Lovely for about eight minutes
Dec. 28th, 2004 01:26 pmChristmas was the nicest I can remember in a very long time. It was great to spend time with both sides of the family and have some time away from work. Had a fantastically great time at Terry and Danielle's - was nice to see some Julie and Elisa from high school and relive some UNO memories. It's interesting how much people stay the same, which in this case is a good thing.
I'm in Stevens Point today with a new hire. Nice guy with sweaty palms. I can relate.
A photo-journal of the swag we got for the holidays will be posted tonight. So, clear your schedule or whatever.
I do believe that part of my New Year's break will include watching all three LOTR movies, potentially back-to-back-to-back.
Who(m)ever decided to move laptop speakers from where you usually rest your hands to near the button you press to open the laptop should get an award or something. Also, I just realized that my laptop at work has a DVD drive and thus Kevin Smith will be joining me when I travel overnight from here on out.

Date: 2004-12-28 08:08 pm (UTC)I thought of doing the back-to-back-to-back thing, but it's almost twelve hours in total. JEEEZ.
I don't think even MY ass is prepared to sit still for twelve hours.
I think I may get some friends to do a consecutive-weekend thing or something. Dinner and a movie or whatever.
