I just noticed when I went to pull up my socks (why does that feel so good, by the way) that they are of two different patterns. They both match my clothes, but not each other. I feel so dirty.

I think I’m going to work on my column tonight and do some reading too. The Vonnegut book I got is rather odd, but good. It’s a collection of short stories. I also got Slaughterhouse Five that I’m ready to read as well. Should plan to do something special with Marie too, as we’ll be separated for the weekend. Maybe rent a movie or go out for dinner. We played some more rummy last night and I won both hands. We’re about 4,993,000 away from Rummy 5,000,000 but well on our way.

I should also clean out my CD collection and see if I can unload anything on eBay as well. I mailed out a CD that someone bought from me this morning and the mail clerk at the Post Office gave me a dirty look for paying for 57 cents of postage with a $20 bill. Sheesh, somebody didn’t get enough sleep on their day off yesterday!

I hope I got to sleep on time tonight, but I’m not counting on it. Sleeping is so great; maybe I can sneak a nap under my desk today. Well, probably not. I hope to get through more of my MAD magazine CDs tonight too, I’m about 3 years from the end.

Lordy, I’m boring.

I had a job a few summers ago for UWM where I did Autocad drawings. I was in this seperate storage room where they put a computer for me. Sometimes I would hide behind the large filing cabinets and take a nap. True Story.

If you want a good, funny, quick read, go with "God Bless Dr. Kevorkian" by KVonnegut. Funny stuff.

When I worked at AAL all I did was read books and email Marie 4 or 5 times a day. If I would have had internet access, I would have never been bored.

I did read God Bless Dr. Kevorkian (in the library, standing by the shelves) a few months ago, what a good read. The short stories book are a little abstract, but I'm giving them a fair shot.
