Get A Mammogram, Man!
Oct. 5th, 2004 01:00 pmHell Damn Fart! I not only did terrible in my office pool, I stupidly switched my survivor pick from NYJets to Baltimore AND lost in fantasy football to Terry (of all people) with enough points on my bench to win. Up yours, professional football!
The weekend was pretty great - class was enjoyable considering the subject matter and afterwards we helped Terry and Danielle move to their new place. I'm good at taping ceilings in preparation for painting as well as reattaching outlet and light switch plates. Sunday had the gang over for the Packer game. Eesh, what a pile of puke. I was surprised that no one pitched in for the pizzas we got, but sometimes that's the way it goes, right?
Yesterday, I was on campus recruiting for two open positions. Of the six, two candidates interviewed really well and looked to be pretty strong. Also had lunch with two accounting professors, which was fun. One had recently relocated from Seattle and talked about what a different environment it was not having to spend four hours in your vehicle commuting every day.
The new Green Day album is quite awesome and the new Travis Morrison album is pretty solid too. It's not the D-Plan, but shame on you who thought it would be.
Tonight I'm removing the screen and putting the glass back into our front door, because it's fucking cold outside.
