I’m still tired, but found some good Fallout hints on the Internet that kept me awake. I just realized how much time I spend on the Internet at work and it’s probably too much. But I figure, I come in early and sometimes work through breaks, so it’s not a big deal.

Anyway, I’ve been thinking a lot lately about life in general and how I want to make a stronger impact but am unsure how. It’s like, there are millions of problems and is so overwhelming to me at times. I just see so many issues and troubles that need to be addressed, but it just seems like no one cares. I try very hard to stay in a positive mind set and feel that the things I do to make things better are important, but it just seems like there isn’t enough time in the day to get all the things done I want to, so I resort to the easy way out (bitching about it on my journal and lusting after video games). Sigh.

JonnyV shared a store with me about how he saw “Dustin Diamond” (yeah, that’s right, TV’s Screech) out at a bar last night. He was being hoarded by all these women and was, in Jon’s words, “almost too drunk to stand”. Saved By The Bell: The Tragedy Continues.

I had great leftover Thai food for lunch today, it was so great. My first try at tofu and it wasn’t too bad. Not going to fool me into thinking it was meat, but it’s pretty healthful to eat. Marie and I had vegan sausages last night too, that were better than I thought they would be. I think that condiments make the sandwich, so a little BBQ sauce and cheese can make a world of difference.

I think Marie and I might hit the library tonight or tomorrow, there are some books I’d like to get (courtesy of the http://www.g7welcomingcommittee.com literature page) and a few articles that I read on-line, so I should have enough to keep feeding my head. I want to get some books on atheism, since I know very little about it. I’m sure it goes beyond the disbelief in God. Also, I’d like to get an ‘Idiot’s guide to automobiles’, since I should know more about cars than I do. I feel like a chump when I go to get my car fixed, so a little knowledge would serve me well.

I also think I’m going to go through my memory box. I’ve got this rather large cardboard box that I keep movie stubs, old notes, trinkets, etc. in and haven’t gone through it in a while. Always nice to go down a walk on memory lane. Marie and I also have about 5 or 6 binders full of emails to each other, which is fun to read through the past 5 years we’ve known each other.

Well, I guess that’s it for now. Hope you all have a good weekend.

Random questions for the day:
What’s the difference between a krackel candy bar and a crunch candy bar?

Where the hell does helium come from? One time when my friend Marty and I worked at Arby’s (back in like 9th grade), we had a helium tank for balloons. Marty inhaled like 7 balloons full and passed out, hitting his head on the break table. That pretty much sums up Marty.

I think I need to update my friend’s page for my website. Send me a picture of yourself to me, and I’ll put you on there.

Side note - The Vagina Monologues *was* fantastic. I saw it in Chicago last Spring and it was worth the $55 easily. What a good time. At that time, I had just seen Lewis Black a few days before and was about to see Henry Rollins spoken word for the first time a few days after. I think that was the best stretch of my life in a long time. Fun stuff.
