Well, I ended up facing the Chargers last night and lost 28-14. Tomlinson and Brees were too much for my defense, and considering my 2nd best corner had his jaw broken (out for 11 weeks) and on the next play the Chargers hooked up for a 70+ yard touchdown, it just wasn’t meant to be. Argh.

Oh well, so I’m 8-4 and will probably end up 10-6 and make the playoffs by the skin of my rump. But, I figure I’ve had a good run, it’s my first year with the team, I’m satisfied with the results so far.

Also, Terry is a jackass and hit me in the face with a coaster when we were having a coaster fight. Granted, they have those cork coasters that fly like Frisbees, but I was aiming for his chest and junk the whole time and he just plain whipped one at my head. But fear not, he’ll get his. Be it a brat bite in his change jar or a good old-fashioned short sheeting of his bed, he’ll get his.

I did get to borrow two CDs from Brian last night, Bill Hicks’ “Restless” and The Strokes “Is This It” Restless is stand-up comedy and Is This It medium rock, I’m enjoying them both. I listened to Restless over breakfast and Is This It this morning. Brian’s always got a way of knowing what stuff I’ll like. Musical genius, that kid.

Today I’m leaving work at noon to go visit my brother and family and run some errands. Taking back my broken scanner to Best Buy, getting some X-mas presents (I know, how sad) and some other things. Tonight I don’t have any plans, so probably will clean out my closet or maybe, just maybe, play some Fallout.

Random thoughts of the morning:
I really want a pet dog. Soon.

If everyone thought like me, it would be a boring world, but I’d be a lot happier.

C is for cookie, and that truly is good enough for me.
