It's funny cuz it's true! For me, anyway.

Got new sandals last night for $16. Ate at a new Chinese buffet and Marie had me try a whitish/clear crispy thing that was stale and didn't taste like anything. Luckily, the rest of the meal was much better.

I spent $75+ at The Exclusive Company (two CDs for myself and the rest are gifts). I wish someone would've told me about Death Cab For Cutie sooner. Yes, I saw them open for The Dismemberment Plan but only one song, Blacking Out The Friction, caught my attention. In any event, Transatlanticism is quite good. Also got the first Ben Folds Five record and am enjoying it as well.

I found an awesome Super Mario Brothers game for the PC that is astonishingly addicting. Much time will be spent on it this evening, after the lawn is tamed.

By tomorrow, I'll hope to have deleted 1300 sent email items to clean up my inbox at work.

On the one hand, I feel a bit of sympathy for Britney. I have knee problems, so stuff like that makes me cringe. On the other hand...why is she still around? The girl can't sing - unless she can, but thinks that breathy girly voice is more musical.

It went well. He put a big X on his knee in "skin marker" to avoid the baboon heart mix up. Then I wrote "big butts" on my forearm to cheer him up. Then I had to wear my sweatshirt in 90 degree weather for the rest of the day because skin maker doesn't wash off like I thought it would.

i love ben folds five. i got a live DVD of theirs yesterday and cant stop watching/listening to it. ive loved them ever since 'the battle of who could care less'.
