I actually came here after I heard it was better than diaryland, where I also kept a journal (which you can find if you are even the slightest bit creative at searching).

It appears you need to register to search members...

The format is always username.diaryland.com (no www).

My complete and utter lack of creativity strikes again!

You'll think of it. There are only so many things you know to call me.

Did you remember to say that yesterday?

Do they really have commercials? (I have a TiVo so I miss out on them now)

Apparently they ran commericals during movies (before the previews) in major market cities. They posted at least one on-line (that's the only way I knew about it), I think in the news community.

i am so awesome, because i was the first person i knew to get a livejournal (in the year 2000, which is kind of sad to think about, now that it's halfway through 2004). and now i don't really know anyone without one. livejournal should consider giving me a commission.

Seriously! You should get a free-life time membership with banning privileges.

I thought I was an old fogey around here.

i actually started keeping a journal online, in various forms, in probably 1998 or 1999. so much of my life has been surrendered to the internet since. SCARY.

Do you remember what specifically brought you to LJ? Other than knowing you'd meet me in a few years, of course!

i think i was googling "free online journal" and got here that way. i didn't know anyone at first, so i had no one on my friends list for a long time. my first livejournal actually only had two friends. and look at me now! hahaha.

I followed a link from [livejournal.com profile] xaheras' (whom I originally knew from online) web page. The pro-ana option was just too tempting not to pick, though.

One of my real-life friends had an amazingly boring LiveJournal and that's all I thought it was. I didn't really know what it was about until it became open to everyone, then i got one and found out that it didn't HAVE to be really, really dull. I've had mine since February now and I've become rather addicted.

I'd go a little bit psycho if I didn't have LiveJournal.

Ok, a little bit more psycho...
