Conduct unbecoming of a date-rapist
May. 24th, 2004 10:33 am You should all add the humor feed to your friends list. Yo.
Warning, excessive use of 'rama'.
Why does it always seem like I've got one nail (finger or toe) that needs to be trimmed?
The weekend was great. As there are many, many lawn-mowing mishap-related journals, I'll save you the details of my own. I destroyed Terry in person at cribbage, winning the first tournament since I wore tighty-whities (or so it seemed). We had a nice conversation and brownies.
Julie and I went to the Fellowship together yesterday (her first time, Marie was training counselors for her summer job in Oshkosh) and she really enjoyed it. She wasn't able to join me for lunch and the lack of potato products at home (to soak up the honey mustard recipe I made) led me to getting a veggie burger and fries at Tom's Drive-In.
htothem, I got a Oreo blizzard-clone and I must admit, it was delicious. Of course, that only meant that Marie had left over Oreos from her training as well as someone brought in four packages of Oreos to work today for their birthday treat.
All of the partners and senior managers are away today on a retreat. Apparently they make a lot of noise when they are here, because it's very peaceful today.
I got to talk with Shreya last night - someone I've unintentionally neglected. She's in the throes of vet school and has roughly 18 minutes of free time every 12 months. I hope the next time we go to Madison we can hook up with her, as she's not able to make it to Eric's wedding this weekend.
Never buy software from England. It's a recipe for disaster.
I was going to start a new book last night, but stumbled across a show on PBS about cats and ended up crying. Twice.
