I think I need to look into a job at the Game Show network. Seriously. For some reason, I'm inherently good (or even great) at board games (not counting Trivial Pursuit, which bites ass). I could come up with new games or be a researcher for shows like "Win Ben Stein's Money". I need to translate a better use of my skills into a career. Simple as that.
The Onion presentation last night was pretty good. I have major issues when sound systems don't work right, and the microphone she used was no exception. Anyway, she should a bunch of stories from The Onion, talked about hate mail, the AV club, the personalities, etc. Having worked there for over 10 years, I thought she would be burned out, but she gave a good presentation to an adoring audience. All of the stories were ones I had seen before, but it was worth it to watch other people 'get' the jokes.
Today is the Bosstones through NOFX at work. I'm very thankful that I can listen to music at work. I'm also happy that my tape player in my car is working, as I made a slew of great mix tapes that I haven't heard in a long time.
