Arms raised in a V
Oct. 28th, 2002 03:16 pmThe weekend was good. Spent Friday night and Saturday morning at my parent's house, downloading music and cleaning out my closet. I found my (now) tiny Billy Joel "Glass Houses" shirt that I wore when I was 6 or 7. I wish it still fit, it rules. I am also going through all of my old Men's Health magazines and cutting out good articles or exercise routines. I'm back into the cycle of not exercising and I hate it. It's so easy to fall out of it and so hard to get motivated again. I've just not been able to resist going back to bed in the morning. Perhaps a walk after dinner each night or setting aside time during the weekends to go and work out would help. I feel like shit for having to make all of these excuses. Old habits are hard to break.
Marie got back on Sunday afternoon and we got our photo done with Brad, Muffett and Savannah. We stuck around to see the proofs but Brad and Co. had to leave. I'm not sure what it is about my brother, but in posed photos he looks very unnatural. It happened with our wedding pictures and with the ones on Sunday too. We got five poses done so we have options. I'm not sure if he just gets nervous or what. Anyway, I think it's the perfect present for them and we'll also have one to give to my grandparents, which should make their day too. Tuesday night Brad and I will go to pick them out and probably have dinner together too.
Wednesday will be cribbage with Terry and his interview for "The Project". I'm really excited for it and will be interested to hear his answers. Hope I can get Danielle (and others) done in the near future too. I hoped to have the majority completed by the end of the year, but with the holidays that most likely will not happen.
I received a resume from someone who worked on "Mr. Deeds". I would've thought a pact with the Devil would have led to longer-term employment. I learn something new everyday!
Fantasy news of the day:
Carrot Top and Ann Coulter jumped into the ocean, never to be heard from again. Also, public transportation replaced all engine-powered vehicles and damn near everyone's allergies suddenly ceased.
( I've figured out what you're all about, and I don't think I like what I see )
