Jolly Jeepers
Feb. 8th, 2002 02:10 pmGot my Interpunk order last night. Let’s review:
Reggie and the Full Effect - Greatest Hits 84-87
Randy - Human Atom Bombs
Alkaline Trio - From Here To Infirmary
Dismemberment Plan - Emergency & I
V/A - Living tomorrow today (a benefit compilation for Ty Cambra)
I really dig the Reggie disc, the AK3 disc and the three songs off of the Randy disc I heard last night. Stupid me left it in my CD-ROM at home, so I’ll have to wait until the weekend to enjoy.
In case you haven’t noticed, I’m completely retarded for the Dismemberment Plan. I’m convinced that Emergency & I is the greatest album I’ve heard in a long, long time. Get it.
Our intern (who technically reports to me) gave her two-week notice today. She got another job offer and I’m surprised that she’s stayed as long as she has, since it’s a credit-only internship. More work for me, hooray!
I did the Gazelle last night, to the tape. Good workout, but I can’t stand to listen to the audio, so I think I’ll use my headphones in the future. Something good to keep me motivated.
I slept on my neck wrong last night, and today it’s really sore. Coupled with the fact that I can’t chew on the left side of my mouth because the cavity I just had filled is acting up makes for a long afternoon.
For those of you who don’t read The Onion, Dan Savage had a good tip sent to him this week. For those of you who get ‘turd splash’ (you know who you are), just tear off a 3-square length sheet of TP and place it on the water. It should cushion the blow and keep you rump dry.
I’m here to help.
