I’ve been experiencing bouts of dizziness lately. Usually for about 5 seconds at a time, maybe twice a day. Nothing that is making me too concerned, but I think I should get on a multi-vitamin. Marie is anemic (meaning she has a low iron count) and that’s how she used to get before she started taking iron on a regular basis.
Looks like Spring Fucking Break Road Trip 2002 will be taking a detour. Buffalo (or Philadelphia), here we come. I’m beyond ready to hit the road.
I think I’ll be hitting the Gazelle pretty hard tonight. I have resisted watching the Tony Little “my chest is really a butt and my hair is really a woman’s” video, but Marie said you really have to work to keep up, which is what I need.
I had the best turkey sub today. It’s the first time I’ve had mayo on a sandwich in about two years, but it tasted rather good. Our VP bought lunch for our department and we had a ‘work lunch’. It was okay.
I met my dad for lunch yesterday and he downloaded me a copy of the DirectX drivers, version 8.1, which is what I needed to install to play the Max Payne demo I got last week. So I installed it and played it last night. Fucking cool. It’s like a cross between GTA3 and The Matrix. Graphically really cool and almost like a graphic novel in terms of the story telling. This might be one for me to pick up a copy of. I also got the Return to Castle Wolfenstein, which I like almost as much.
Nothing makes me feel uglier than an ingrown hair on my thigh. Ick.
Spin Magazine is a piece of crap. Didja know?
Marie and I got our book order yesterday. I got one on how to sleep better, one on Anger (by That Nich Somethingorother, that I can never remember but he’s one of the leading authors on Buddhism), one of the Greatest American Short Stories of the century and one called “Trust Us, We’re Experts” about how lobby groups are filled with liars and misrepresentation. Ah, the joy.
I’m waiting for my latest Unte and Mother Jones magazines. I’m renewing neither of them, but I still want my issues!
I think this is rad: http://www.livejournal.com/talkpost.bml?itemid=22654002
