Thank you for taking the time to contact the Best Buy corporate headquarters regarding the replacement of your scanners. Please allow me to respond accordingly.

Please allow me to begin by apologizing on behalf of Best Buy for any frustration or inconvenience you may have experienced as a result of your concerns. Best Buy strives to supply the best quality merchandise available. I understand your frustration with these items requiring replacement so soon after their purchase. However, through the Product Replacement Plan (PRP) that was purchased for your scanner, a replacement voucher is issued for the cost of the product if the product is defective. When a voucher is used to purchase a replacement product, any refund given for the replacement product must be in voucher form. Since this is the case, we will be unable to accommodate your request for a credit card refund.

In closing, I would like to offer an apology on behalf of Best Buy for any inconvenience or frustration you have experienced as a result of your concern. Hopefully, this issue will not change your opinion of Best Buy as a whole. We certainly do appreciate your past patronage and hope that we will be able to serve you better in the future.

Working scanner = good. Best Buy = total fucking jerks (see previous posting)

But hey, you already knew that right? The scanner I bought from Milwaukee PC is working splendidly and I’ve got about 1/2 of the wedding pictures scanned. Hopefully, will have them all uploaded and on display by the end of the week. Spent most of last night scanning them in and laughing along to Bill Hicks. Great stuff. Thanks again, Tim. Also hope to unveil the “Fuck Best Buy” section of my website soon. Keep your eyes peeled.

Other than scanning and getting groceries, there wasn’t time for much else. Read a little more of the interviews with Zinn, but was ready for sleep. I’m still tired today, but feeling better.

I just got in on my first football pool. Wish me luck with my numbers, it’s for the United Way and the Viking/Packer game. I’ll find out what numbers I got today, hopefully.

Tonight will be more scanning of pictures and probably some more reading too. Every time I got to the library I check out way more books than I can read in the time I’m allotted. Rather have it this way than only finding a few books that I’m interested in.

Random thoughts for the day:
I think I’m getting sick. This is not helping matters.

Is it a federal offense to mail dog poop to a certain Consumer Relations department? Grr, argh. I have not yet begun to fight.

Found out last night that the guys’ Halloween party coincides with my cousin’s wedding. So no Kip Winger impersonation this year, I have a feeling that fine ladies everywhere will be disappointed.
