10 years ago, I was working at Arby's

I think I'm the only one rooting for higher gasoline prices.
Dinner with Carrie and Gailen last night was really great. He's very kind and easy to talk to. He works in sales, so I think he's in the right line of work. We went to Zachatace's (a Mexican place) in Neenah and then gathered round the television to watch 'The Apprentice'. It was my first time watching a full episode - sometimes I catch snippets of the show while Marie's watching. I believe they could have a ratings gold mine (and my continued support) if they would lose pointless celebrities on *every* episode.
I've been trying to gather information regarding the cost of raising a child (i.e., $X per week for diapers, food, clothes, and so forth) to somewhat budget the inevitible. I think fatherhood is going to be incredible, but I often worry that we'll be able to afford everything. I know we'll find a way, but I still worry. Marie remarked in bed last night, after talking about how our savings account is low due to paying off our appliances for the house and larger-than-expected tax bill, that she hates being poor. I reminded her that while we're not rich, we're certainly not poor. I need to be reminded of that more often.
31 days till my birfday!
