Interview by [livejournal.com profile] hexkitten
1. Imagine that you open your front door and find a bag of hundred dollar bills on your doorstep. What would you do with it?
2. Can you name a trait or characteristic that you find absolutely embarrassing, but Marie finds adorable or endearing?
3. What one food could you eat every day, for the rest of your life, if you had to?
4. Has a movie ever made you cry?
5. What is the best book that you've ever read?

1. Try to find the owner, although from the sounds of it, this is intentional. Count the $$, pay off my parents (they helped us a bit with our downpayment) and take Marie on a vacation.
2. Wearing a winter hat when it's cold out. I think it's for 5 year olds and messes up my hair, which Marie thinks is cute.
3. Pizza or cereal.
4. I Am Sam came close, but only because everyone else in the theater was balling. I have this thing where 1/2 way through almost every movie I see, I break my concentration and think about the things I have to do after the movie. So I think I keep myself out of getting to involved.
5. Anything by Thich Nhat Hanh.

---------

He's a Buddhist author and all-around amazing person. I recommend any of his books to anyone, even if you aren't interested in the religious aspects. Very good 'how to live your life' stuff.

Hey!

This is my upcoming post... thank you for doing this... it was fun!

Interview of myself, as conducted by twicketface... an all around great guy and a gifted writer:

1. What's the one superpower who wished you had?

The ability to stop, speed up, or travel through time. I saw an episode of DUCKTALES when I was a kid in which Huey, Dewey, and Louie got some magical watch from Gyro Gearloose, went to a baseball game, and completely altered the result. I thought that was friggin' awesome and have wanted the power ever since... not just for sports purposes, either-- for quick travel, theft, and boring days especially.

I have yet to see CLOCKSTOPPERS, though... I'm sure it is wonderful.... ;-)

2. Which would you have a harder time living without- sex or music?

Geez... my first instinct was to say music, so I won't try to talk myself out of it!

3. Do you do any impressions?

Nobody famous. I do impersonate my clients quite frequently, though (in a loving, not mocking, fashion).

4. What's your favorite cartoon and why?

The hands down, no question, seal it in a vault, case closed, no comparison, no substitutes, flat out, balls out, be all and end all champions of cartoons is... THE SIMPSONS. I love it for its heart, its absurdity, and the consistent laugh-out-loud reaction it forces out of me despite my mood or state of mind. I would even say it is the greatest show in the history of television. I realize that the animation isn't that wonderful... but I don't care.

I also like Felix the Cat, really old Warner Bros. stuff, and this french animated movie called Fantastic Planet that is totally awesome!

5. Have you ever ridden on a train?

Yes.

I think it was when my family went on vacation in South Dakota... there was an historic locomotive ride somewhere- I think Deadwood, but I'm not sure.

I haven't actually ridden on a train for useful purposes.
