Groggy Monday

twicketfaceDespite having a lovely and restful weekend, I’m not too pumped about being at work. Tired of all the gloomy weather, it’s really draining on me. Hopefully I can get out and play some tennis this week, if only the sun would come out, or it would get in the 60s.
Two months from today, I’ll be a married man. I think it’s going to be awesome, but stressful to get to that point. Will be sending out invitations this week, and if you’re lucky, maybe you’ll get one. Eh, maybe not. Looking forward to my stripper-free bachelor party, sometime in mid to later July. Bring on the poker! Will be fun to get together with the guys and have some fun.
I get to take back my scanner to Best Buy this week and also register for a card table at Kohl’s. Get to go grocery shopping tonight, which is always enjoyable. I need more fresh produce. Don’t we all.
Also meeting with our photographer this week. We have this weird habit of meeting at Hardee’s. Not that Hardee’s is all that weird, but I feel kinda sleazy meeting there without ordering anything. Maybe we’ll have to have supper there to make it less sleazy.
Why do I have about a million things to do and little motivation to do it? I get so frustrated with myself when I’m Apathetic Blobby-man. I’ve tried to-do lists, but I just rationalize that I’d rather do something else. Shame on me! I’ve improved a lot with the help of Marie but have a ways to go as well.
Random thoughts of the day:
If I was in a band, I’d like to be the drummer
I get to go out to lunch with my dad tomorrow, which should be awesome. My dad rules.
People who are seeking jobs, take note: Do NOT repeatedly call to see if you got the job. When a decision is made, you’ll be informed. Calling 3 times in a 2 hour span is not going to make things go in your favor.
I saw a resume today with the last name Ziebert and mistakenly read it as Zerbert.
I saw the ‘Hashpipe’ video from Weezer last night. Damn, it’s pretty good. Bring on another new album, guys.
