I've been getting into the habit of eating my lunch at my desk instead of in the tiny, cramped kitchen that can hold, at most, 6 people comfortably (I'm told that the reason there is such a small table is so that people eat shorter lunches and work more). I've found it to be a good time to catch up on those on my 'friends' list. I find it quite interesting to go back to a person's first entry (or at least, first entry in their current journal) and get a better sense of who the hell they think they are. I like visiting the past and returning to the present to see how they've changed and to learn about the parts that make them who they are. In a culture that puts such emphasis on the present, it's nice to get a history lesson about those I care about, albeit electronically.
Marie is going to be visiting her mom for the weekend and I've got major plans and a ever-growing to-do list. I plan on listening to a ridiculous amount of music and getting some things done that I've been meaning to do for a while. I'm also going to try my hand at a photo-hosting website, because people that have figured out how to put photos in their journal entries are cool. And I'm not, despite what my mom says.
