After soliciting advice a year ago regarding Marie being too cold at night and my being too hot, I finally got around to purchasing flannel sheets for our bed. Now, I've come to understand the incredible combination that is the most comfortable bed in the universe coupled with the most comfortable sheets in the universe. Holy fucking shit (not an understatement), they are awesome. Sleep is underrated and overrated at the same time. But an ideal sleeping situation is not to be taken lightly.

I've made a decision to limit my computer time to three nights per week night. With the increased commute from work to home, I'm finding that it's usually time for bed before I've gotten much accomplished. Bets will be accepted as to how short-lived this new strategy will be as of right about now.

I spent yesterday's lunch hour reading through my old journal entries and it was ridiculously entertaining. I'm proud of the fact that I can make myself laugh, even years later.

I've got the house to myself tonight, as Marie will be at a meeting. I do believe I'll get started on the mailing project and perhaps mow the lawn if the weather holds up. I was in a crummy mood last night after a non-descriptive day at work. Something just felt wrong but I couldn't put my finger on it.

The dear_bigfoot community is a little wonky right now, but I'm working on it. I plan to whore it out to community_promo soon.

I'm having a self-moderated contest to see how long I can let my big toenails get before I need to clip them. I think this stems from the fact that I think crusty, long, yellowed toenails are neat to look at.

I love reading old entries - at times it's highly entertaining and at other times it makes me realise how far I've come in a relatively short space of time. Very therapeutic. :-)
