I figured out how to get my CD burner working last night, after restarting the computer a dozen or so times. Something with the timing of plugging in the power supply. It was never an issue before we moved, so I think I have the cords plugged in differently. I listened to the Touch soundtrack (composed by Dave Grohl) and "The Pride is Back" by David Cross. Some funny stuff, but most of the bits were too brief.

Last night was awkward and pointless, but we went through with it anyway. No more dead time.

As I was drifting off to sleep last night, I realized the meaning of life.

"Be less of an asshole than you were yesterday."

Brief, universal and somewhat tangible. I think I need to put this up somewhere I can see it everyday.
