The weekend was quite excellent. I learned how to drive a pontoon boat (with two people giving me directions at once - not hot), had lots of time to read and three smores. Weather was perfect and Marie and I even got to sleep in the same bed (as opposed to the bunk beds we usually have).

I started off the week on the wrong foot (literally) - Marie has this week off between camp sessions, so she was asleep when I was about to leave. I went to ask her when she wanted me to set the alarm for her and stepped on her glasses (that were lying on the floor next to her bed). Luckily, I only bent the frames and the glass seemed to be intact. Stupid big, heavy feet.

I conducted my first interview in 5 months today. It was over the phone, but felt really strange. I keep mine more conversational than direct question and answer, which I thinks puts both of us at ease. Overall, I think it went pretty well and hope to keep moving along with everything. I'm tired of freaking out about my job and need to work on prioritizing. It's funny how my job doesn't have many specific deadlines that are crucial, but whenever I have a lot to do, I feel like I need to do it all at once.

I'm in the process of erradicating the contents of my hard-drive to reinstall Windows 98. Similar to moving, it's amazing how much crap you can accumulate on a hard drive in a few short years. I've got all of the games removed and will need to work on the personal 'documents' and mp3 files. I probably should have done this *before* adding 2.0GB worth of audio files via SoulSeek, but whatever. In a few weeks, everything should run much smoother.

My employer uses a third-party survey company to gather data following training sessions about how effective the training is, what should be changed, etc. This third-party company also has a 'market research' company that you can sign-up to take surveys and win fabulous prizes. Akin to scoring the less-than-attractive on amihotornot.com 9s and 10s, I feel this is a good way to subvert the desires of consumers. I signed up and I'll keep you posted.

I'm filling up my personal To-Do list and think I've got a solution to all of my dead time. Ok, some of my dead time.
