This capillary life

Last night was supposed to include plans with Luke, but he called and said he wasn't feeling well. I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt, but the 'old' Luke would, at times, break plans if something more of interest to him came up later on. Not saying that is what happened, but it certainly entered my thoughts. I am a little disappointed, but honestly it did give me more time to get packed up for my trip to Milwaukee and spend some time with Marie.

Speaking of which, Marie has psyotica (or, a pinched psyotic nerve). I took her over to the chiropractor and it seemed to help. I feel bad that I'll be gone but she should start feeling better soon. She goes back on Thursday for a follow-up. I really like our chiropractor - he more than made up for my previous negative experiences.

So anyway, I had to 'discipline' a temp yesterday for basically lying and semi-stealing (but not from us). She won't even make eye contact with me today. Children, it's time to grow up.

My training for the remainder of the week is for Predictive Index, this interesting 'tool' that determines people's drives and how to best work with them. I posted it for people who might want to take it and I could give them the results. I think I can still get more people to take it, so email me at twicketface at livejournal.com and I'll see if I can hook you up. It won't tell you how compatible you are with anyone, which is probably a welcome change. I'm a highest D, high B, lowest A, low C. So there.

I'm also hoping to get some writing accomplished and start up my community. I even checked out a laptop from work to do so. I dislike laptops as they are generally too small and too slow for my liking, but I'll manage. I might even have an internet connection, which would be rad.
