I've got so many things to look forward to, it's pretty satisfying. A move, two weddings, a bachelor party, a going-away party, hopefully a summer party along with all the regular joys of being alive. Good times, for sure.

Marie and I went to the library and got some books (go figure) on decorating and I got a few on Buddhism. I want to spend some time reading up on the religion and see if I can incorporate parts of it into my life. It just makes sense to me and that's a good feeling.

I slept better last night than I have in seemingly weeks. Post-orgasmic slumber is the way to go. I had to get up super-early for a 7:00 dentist appointment but was almost wide-awake at 2:30am. Luckily, I fell right back asleep and didn't stir until the alarm went off. I need to pick a new CD to wake up to, as Dashboard Confessional is starting to wear on me. The dentist appointment was the best cavity-related procedure I've ever had. I was totally numbed and was done in less than half an hour. I need to lay off the bagels for a day or so, but other than that I'm okay.

Marie is gone to Madison today until Wednesday. I might be going to dinner with Betty, my former co-worker. She's funny in that she's always telling me about how screwed up things are there and I got out at the right time. To have so much in common with a 50ish conservative woman should scare me, but it doesn't. We always have fun catching up with each other and I hope it'll work tonight.

It's TV turn off week, so I'm going to try my best to avoid the glass teat. As much as I want to watch, I can find better things to do. It's just hard with Marie gone, as I like the background noise. I also start my dog-sitting routine tonight. Woo hoo!

Eric called on Saturday with engagement news. He and Lori are planning a May/June '04 wedding. Marriage fever has officially taken over.

I'll be in Milwaukee for the day tomorrow, which should be good. More training and information as I start to get busier at work. I hope I don't get lost this time around.

This is a really good idea(s). (bamboozled from [livejournal.com profile] greenhairdork).

I've read some stuff by The Lama (can I call him that?) and didn't really like them. Everything by Thich Nhat Hanh I've almost married, but the Dalai Lama's style of writing turns me off, somehow. It's hard to explain.

Have you had the Key Lime Pie yogurt? It's pretty good.

I want to start on that photo a day one; I think that would be really interesting. Kinda like the A Day in My Life community.

Funny that you should ask that! I've never had Key Lime Pie yogurt - but I bought some for the first time last night. I might have it for breakfast tomorrow; I'll let you know how it is.

I like the photo a day one. If I ever get around to buying a digital camera, I might consider it.
