I had one of those just waking up moments when I thought that it was Saturday instead of Friday. Let me tell you, that really puts a damper on the day right from the get go.

Today is recent Pearl Jam, Tom Petty, PUSA and Propagandhi at work. I found an old tape containing the first two Propagandhi CDs and forgot how great this band is. Shame on me.

Last night was relaxing. Got caught up on some television (Futurama was finally in English and looks like they started over the episodes from the beginning) and wrestled with Marie a bit. Tonight I'll be getting my stuff together for tomorrow. I'll be leaving around 8am and probably won't be back until after midnight. I'll bring the video camera and hopefully add some party footage. I think I need to focus less on 'formal' reasons to videotape and just let it roll. I'm also excited about playing tennis with Eric. It'll be the first time I've played this year and I hope some running around will compensate for all of the crap I'll be eating during cards.

I got a really nice email from Luke, the friends I've reconnected with through a co-worker at my new job. He basically said that he misses our friendship and hopes we can stay in touch and get together when he's in town (his parents still live in Appleton). He fell in with the popular crowd and admitted that was a shitty outlook to have, since they were more people who smoked pot or drank together instead of real friends. It's almost like reconnecting with a long-lost relative; I spent so much time at his house in junior high and his parents were really more like an aunt and uncle to me. Anyway, I hope that we can get together. He is a good kid that seems to be finding his way.

I hope the afterlife is what I hope it is. It would be so fascinating to me to be able to learn about how the lives of people I went to high school with went turned out. For someone who was mostly anonymous during high school, I knew of most of the people in my grade and it would be interesting to see where they've ended up.

"The Colour and the Shape" might be one of the greatest albums in my collection. Hot. Damn.

I just ordered the recording of the WPR program with the editor from Adbusters that was aired Tuesday. I hope that it's really good, I was disappointed that I only caught about 10 minutes of it on my way to work.

None of my driver's licenses reflect the fact that I had a beard.
