Rainy Saturday

twicketfacePretty quiet day so far. Got up early and read some more about Dubya and his background. Scary stuff. He's about to be elected Governor (in the book, silly) and it's rather interesting the way he ran his campaign. Scare tactics and hiding behind his platform. Unbelievable.
Had an omelet for breakfast and watched some tube. Took a shower and checked my email (separately). Worked on a present for Marie that took much longer than I thought it would. Watched the Daily Show and some of the French Open. Worked on the wedding map so people can find out how to go from the church to the reception. Looks pretty lame so far, will have to have Marie take a peek at it when she gets back.
Going over to my friend Eric's tonight. Probably play some PS2 and order a pizza. Not too many better ways to kill time. I'm having a blast with my Totally MAD CD collection. Every issue of Mad Magazine from 1952 - Dec 1998. I'm just breaking into the 80s and pissing myself regularly. But this time, from laughing!
Haven't had a chance to play with the scanner much. Would like to go through all the photo albums Marie and I have (9 and counting) and sort through, toss the ones we don't want and scan in the ones we do. Anyone want to volunteer to do that for me? A summer project if I've ever heard one, but I think getting married should take priority. Yes, dear reader, it does.

20/20 is a pretty shitty television program
Why is it that when mentioning a sexual preference other than hetero-, it is automatically assumed that sexual activity is an all consuming trait of that non-hetero preference? You follow? It's assumed, in my estimation, that homosexuals and/or bisexuals are solely focused on sex. That's the excuse people use if they want to keep non-heteros 'away'. We don't want our children around homosexuals because they fear molestation or improper conduct, while statistics show that the vast majority of pedophiles are hetero. Fuck that bias.
I'm surprised as hell that the Bucks didn't blow it last night. But Ray Allen is one hell of a player. I would never let Allen Iverson house-sit for me.
I miss football.
