Is it not a tragic reflection of modern culture that we need to pass a law against using fireworks in nightclubs? If we can’t rely on common sense, what hope do we have?
One of my joys in relation to sleeping (other than sleeping itself) is having the fan on. Even in the dead of winter, it’s so soothing to have a fan lulling me off to slumberworld. With Marie being sick, I had to put the fan on hiatus for a few weeks. That is, until Wednesday night. I kept on waking up thinking it was time to get up and seeing that I had hours of sleep left. I think it had something to do with the freshly fallen snow outside making it appear lighter out than it really was. Anyway, I would drift back to sleep for what felt like an hour but would see that a mere 10 minutes had passed. This happened about 5 times. I have no idea if it has anything to do with the fan being on, but it was pretty neat.
Marie and I talked about housing and our timeline. We think we will be in a position to make a purchase in June/July. It depends on how expensive the house we want is and if we want to pay the insurance (read: penalty) for not having a 20% down payment. We forgot about a CD that we had socked away $4000 into, which will come in handy. I’m hoping that we can start checking out neighborhoods/open houses in April. I’m hoping to find one with some secret passages or mysterious switches/levers, but I’ll take a nice, well-hid trapdoor if we can’t find our ‘dream house’.
Random thoughts:
From now on, I’m referring to them as animal cookies, since that’s what they are.
I’m trying to discern between Matt and Dan led songs on my AK3 cds. It’s harder than I thought it would be.
Charlie Daniels is a piece of crap.
harleyquinn is living in an incredible state of fear and worry right now. She did it to herself.
This weekend will be chock full of family, which is good.
