twicketfaceI’m in the Sheboygan office and am learning that things aren’t the way they’ve been presented to me. I was told that this was the “problem” office, that they had no leadership and that morale was the pits. Everyone here has been pretty friendly and warm. The employee I was most warned about for being gruff and blunt was the most outspokenly-welcoming to me. Maybe they were trying to prepare me for the worst or they simply haven’t given this place a chance. A pity, for sure. Not to say that there won’t be challenges here, but I think it’s better than most think it is.
Last night was pretty fun, spent time with Danielle’s mom and Terry, as well as stopping by Julie’s to drop off some materials. I got a new plant from her to replace the one that dropped dead last week in my office.
My old boss is fed up with my old employer (the one that rhymes with that swear word. You know the one). We’re discussing, through email, opening up our own business. Small café with a bookstore added on in the future. I’m totally serious. This might be interesting…
Due to the recent terror alerts, I have covered my crotch in duct tape and window plastic. Safety first!

This morning I met the individual that I get to come back and assist with firing on Monday. I’m in a weird line of work.
I’m using a wireless mouse for the first time. It’s heavy and jerky. Kinda like me, sometimes.
