I find sexual dysfunction so...sexy...
Dec. 6th, 2002 04:15 pmLast night was pretty fun. Marie and I went to Fratello's for dinner. I was gutsy and tried something new - Potato purses. It was a combination of diced potatoes wrapped up in spinach pasta, served with sour cream and a vegetable "glace". I figured it was a glaze, and decided to give it a shot. The meal that arrived looked like three large green strawberries with sour cream in the middle of the plate and gravy all around it. The meal was good, but not great. Marie got her usual portabella mushroom sandwich (double ick), but she shared her french fries with me. Even on her birthday!
We got home, made smoothies and put together our Christmas tree. It's huge and looks a little silly in our small living room, but it's pretty cool. The branches are rather prickly, but we can deal.
Went to bed rather early and came in early today to decorate my Boss's office. She turns/ed forty today. We chipped in to get her a bottle of wine and a gift certificate at the mall. We also have this travelling 'painting' that someone painted for the company via an art competition like 10 years ago. It's a horribly ugly picture and everyone has to have it displayed by their work area during a milestone birthday (ending in '0' or '5'). It's an attempt at humor. Luckily, I won't be here long enough to get the 'honors'.
Tonight is shopping and preparing for my interview on Monday. All signs are pointing to yes so far. Tomorrow is drumming and breakfast with Brian, shopping with LBEric and the company holiday party. Last year they ran out of food and had a horrible experience (Marie and I were out of town at the time). It's at a new venue this time, so we'll see how many show up. Sunday will be a trip to Wausau for The Nutcracker. I've never seen it before, so I'm looking forward to it.
Don't laugh, I'm new at this.
