There've been days when I don't feel I've ever known you all that well
Yesterday was a good one. I "trained" my new boss and did a lot of introductions. I hate remembering people's names and it's got to be daunting, especially working in Human Resources when you are expected to know everyone. It's hard to pin point when I came out of my shell and started meeting people, but one day most everyone just knew my name.
After dinner Marie and I headed to get some groceries. Returned home and talked to my brother. We're planning a surprise for my parent's birthdays by getting a photo of us taken for them. He's planning the appointment and we'll make sure we're extra adorable. Terry and Brian arrived around 7:45 and we had an enjoyable evening of conversation, insults and laughter. Terry increased his lead to 5-1 on the cribbage board, but only because I let him. That's what I'm telling myself, anyway. If he gets much more of a lead I feel this tourny will end up going his way. Must. Get. Act. Together.
They left around 9:45 and Marie and I went to bed. I couldn't sleep so I read some of the creative writing book Brian is lending me. Pretty good stuff, I wonder if it's helping me. And speaking of english help, I appreciate all the comments regarding "it's" and "its". I'm getting better.
Tonight I will be making a surprise for someone who I don't believe reads this silly little journal, but for the sake of secrecy I'm not telling until they get it. Which should be shortly. Mwahahwahhahohum... I might be getting the new Foo disc too, if not now then over the weekend. I can hardly wait. I'm also planning on going to my parent's Friday night to take advantage of their cable modem (and be a nice son and visit too, of course). Any good ideas of what I can download, fellow LJers?

He'd subject you to hours of Dave Matthews Band and expensive cologne.
Re:
Marrying your brother made sense, then I'd get to be part of your family.
