So, I didn't get the job. I called and they are considering two other candidates and unless the the ground opens up and swallows them whole, I'll do best to look elsewhere. Plan B is to send my resume to the local newspaper (which is utterly terrible) and see if I can start doing some free-lance writing or something "on the side" to get some experience. It's looking more and more like I'll be staying for the summer at my current job, which, in a way, makes me want to puke, and, in addition, use lots of commas.

Again, I could really go for a grilled cheese sandwich. I think that's what I'll have for supper. Yes, fantastic.

I plan on working on my submission to The Sun again this week. It's not "due" until September, for the February issue, but I feel like I need to keep reworking it. I also like to hear Marie yell to me "Baby, work it!" on occasion, so that should work out nicely, thank you.

I think June is going to be "No Soda" month, which will most likely kill me. I drink such large quantites of it, it's a little frightening. A better goal might be "One Soda Per Week" month with the remainder filled in with quantities of ice water. I'm like a big empty calorie recepticle. Yuck.

I had a Cold-Eze this morning, to hopefully zinc away my sore throat and it just made me sick to my stomach. I'm on my second mint cough drop of the day. They make my water taste a solid 15 degrees colder on my throat, which is nice.

I just came across another job in Appleton, doing HR stuff but with hopefully less crap. It would mean a 30 minute, one way commute, but that's the least of my worries. Resume to be sent out tonight.

I have a cut/bump on my tongue and for some mini-masochistic reason, I keep rubbing it against my teeth, causing pain.

I really crave grilled cheese all the time.
I can't wait until I'm back home for the summer and can have one whenever I want!

What do you take echinacea for? I've heard of it, but not what it does. Wow, that's a shitty sentence.

it is an herb extract for boosting the immune system. usually you can take it if you feel like you might be getting a cold or something and it'll stop you from getting sick. or if you take it when you are sick, it will help your immune system to beat the sickness instead of just treating symptoms like cold medicine does. it usually gets me well within 48 hours. it's very good stuff to have around!

I'll have to stock up on it. Is it expensive?

not very expensive at all. it's pretty cheap if you get the capsule kind. i think the liquid kind (which is terrible anyway) is more expensive.

I got 90 capsules for $7 last night. Have taken two already; I like experiments.

On the bottle, it says to take two capsules, three times a day. Good lord, that's a lot.
