I saved the day yesterday. Marie called, she had accidentally locked her keys in her trunk while at Target. Luckily, Target is about a 5 minute drive from where I work. It was incredibly eerie. The sky was clear and it had just started to snow. Within about 30 seconds, it was a complete whiteout. Heavy, wet snow pelted my car as I navigated the roads to save the love of my life. I parked and made my way inside Target, my pea coat now covered in white. We made our way to her car and I liberated her keys from the trunk. Gave her a kiss and sent her on her way. I braved my way back to work, hair dripping and glasses fogged up. After parking and hanging up my coat in the cloakroom, I glanced out the window and the blizzard was done. The clouds parted and the blue skies shone through. As I said, it was eerie.

Last night was the usual Tuesday night trip to the grocery store. Came home and had a pasta and vegetable dish with meat free chicken nuggets. They were really tasty. A puddle of ranch and a puddle of BBQ sauce, it doesn’t take much to please me.

Spent some time on-line and let Marie open two of her three Valentine’s Day presents. She is now the proud owner of The Body Shop Peppermint foot lotion and a foot spa. While it didn’t win me the first annual Montgomery Burns award for outstanding achievement in the field of excellence, I did get tackled with kisses and was dubbed the best husband ever. We both had a foot spa and celebrated with a fruit smoothie (the best we’ve ever made) and a taped episode of Baby Blues (which is right after Home Movies). It was nice.

Spent the rest of the night reading from The Sun best of book before turning in.

Tonight will be laser tag and pizza with Joy and Julie in Appleton. Always promises to be a fun time. Must. Remember. To. Bring. The. Camera.

So, should we go to Buffalo or Philadelphia for Spring Break?

I’m going to start the “Anger” book today during lunch, I can’t wait.

It's only 2620 miles from here. 45 hours by car, I wish we could. Maybe for the next vacation Marie and I take.

I feel pretty hip in my Pea Coat. Of course, knowing what one is goes a long way to feeling hip too.

I talked to my friends, and we are indeed going to Philly. Will you rock my ass when we get there?
