Damn it.

I got about 4 hours of sleep last night and am so out of it as a result. I couldn’t fall asleep and when I did finally drift off, I kept waking up to a hacking fight, which in turn woke Marie up. This happened several times. I wanted to tear my throat out and use the garbage disposal to get rid of it.

I’ve got a training session tomorrow, which should be interesting. Free donuts.

I decided to call out my friend on his ‘return’ policy and I think things will be very different between him and me. He’s the type to hold grudges, but maybe this was a long time coming and I just didn’t see it. I’m heading over there tonight (to exchange Christmas presents, of all things), it will be interesting to see what happens.

I feel so unproductive at work. I’ve got things to do but no ambition to do them.

Tonight I’ve got to work out and do some reading. I think I spent too much time on the computer last night.

I’ll post when I’m less crabby.

Thanks ;) I think CD shopping will improve my mood (as terrible as it makes me feel to link consuming with happiness)

How's life by you?

w00t! cd shopping always cheers me up too. it also makes me broke, but that's besides the matter, right?

life is just keen.

Try used-cd shopping... you'll still spend all your money, but you'll get more cds for it, heh. I love used CD shopping sprees.

I usually try to go, but most of the stuff I'm looking for isn't 'popular' enough to be found there. I can get a dozen GNR discs there, but not usually what I'm looking for. I did have good luck last time, scoring Van Halen's 1984 and Cake's Fashion Nugget.

The key is finding stores with a pretty good flow of used cds of the genres you like. I usually get lucky and come home with a handful of cds. Last week I found a CD I was about to order online in a bin for 99 cents. woohoo!

I went to one today, didn't find too much there. The Cake CD they had was one I wanted and their prices were a little steep. I'll have to continue the search and keep my chin up.
