Watching you on Baker Street
Last night was one of the best nights I’ve had in a long time. I got a lot accomplished, watched only half an hour of television and got a lot of reading done. Let’s check the tape:
Dinner with Marie (Mac and Cheese) consisting of conversation and much tackling
Watching parts of the Daily Show and Seinfeld, with low to moderate amounts of enjoyment
Checking of email and attempting to engage in chat with friends when I got kicked off-line by a phone call. It only rang once after kicking me off and the person never called back (I stayed off line just in case it was Ed McMahon)
Playing a game of Kyodai (a form of Mah Jongg) and some Death Rally (mini-car racing game)
Reading the literature The Progressive sent me (including an article by Howard Zinn) and deciding to subscribe for a year
Paying off my credit card bill, thus coming one step closer to canceling my credit card account
Sending a check to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society (a belated Christmas gift)
Writing to Working Assets to inform them to stop sending me offers to switch phone companies
Sorting through my work bag and consolidating various pieces of paper
Recycling much paper
Finishing Culture Jam and starting on my big Foxtrot book of cartoons
Taking some more cough medicine before bed
Sleeping until 6:45, only waking up once
I am pretty awake today and feeling accomplished since I got a lot done last night. If I can reduce television viewing to the weekends (and that’s only for football and Simpsons/Futurama/Malcolm in the Middle/Home Movies) I should be able to kick it up a notch and be happier at the same time.
Shreya was supposed to call yesterday about dinner for this week, but she didn’t, so I’m hoping she calls today sometime. Hoping we can go out tonight, otherwise maybe we can plan for the weekend.
I’m going out to lunch with my friend who I mentioned before. I hope to ask him about his ‘return’ policy and not get into a big argument at the restaurant, but maybe some drama is what I need in my life. Then again, he’s driving so maybe I’d better not.

I just don't know how you're going to get it now...
(I spelled it right the second time, I'm not completely dumb)
Re:
I'll need to use gloves, like in Three Kings.
