I created the account over here a while ago, but this is my first time using the reading page. I've been wary of livejournal but not quite willing to give up on it and just use DW. But I guess it's time. I'm glad I'm seeing so many people here, at least. My big aversion was the fear that there'd be hardly anybody I recognize here.

I'm hopeful that the LJ rejuvenation led to more interest in journaling as a thing to do and DW reaps the rewards of being a semi-good substitute. Dunno how they attract folks who aren't aware of LJ (as in, I wouldn't know anything about DW without ties to LJ), so maybe they're just hoping to fill the void.

I should check if they have an app (and if they don't, holy shit there's a lot of potential there).
