The Seahawks are frowning
Nov. 27th, 2001 12:26 pmWell, I split my games last night and ended up with a 6-10 record. Not good compared to my 10-6 run last year, but something to build on. I found out that I have pick #6 in the draft, so I should be able to get an impact player, hopefully on D-line or O-line. We’ll see.
Finished up the cribbage tournament with Stupid Terry and lost, so I owe him a CD. He did admit that he had ‘homefield advantage’ since we played all the games at his place, so with the new tourney, we’ll see if he can make it over to my place. I hope so. He’ll probably want to play more Yoshi too, which is a good thing.
So last night was pretty much all spent at the guys’ place, as per usual for Monday. Didn’t get to see Eric for too long as he was gone, but had a nice chat with Brian and Terry. We are all pumped up about a road trip, we think New Jersey would be fun. Or Montana or New Mexico or Oregon. I think it would be fun to do, but we’ll see about scheduling. Maybe over Spring Break or something. We could do a 4 day weekend or something, we’ll see.
Tonight will be grocery shopping and me getting some shite in order. I feel really disorganized and need to get on track with my career. What do I want? I don’t know. It’s frightening and energizing to know that. But enough wondering, time to start exploring.
I also want to update my links page because there are SO many sites I visit on a regular basis that I don’t have ‘represented’ on my site. So look for that soon too.
I might be moving in terms of my cubicle at work, which I’m really against. Basically they want to move me to a ‘noisier’ area to better accommodate the department, but it will result in my not having privacy (which is essential to HR confidentiality) and me not sitting ‘near’ my boss. I’ve expressed my ‘concerns’ and we’ll see what happens. Space planning is a MAJOR headache where I work and it seems that logic simply does not apply.
Gripe gripe gripe.
End transmission.

Date: 2001-11-27 02:09 pm (UTC)I thought imparting the "Trent Dilfer plan" in Seattle (hand off to good running back, pray your defense can handle the other team) would work, but I guess not. Looks like Mr. August isn't the answer at QB.
