Doi (it’s sorta of like ‘duh, but a little different)
Can’t believe I forgot to talk about Memento. Marie and I watched this fine flick on Sunday morning prior to going shopping. For those who are not in the know, Memento is about a guy who has no short-term memory. I really don’t want to give out too much in regards to the plot, since the story unfolds in a backwards sort of way (starting from the finish and working back to the beginning). Anyway, suffice it to say it’s a great, great movie and a bit of a mindscrew, which is always good.
The only actor who I recognized in the flick was actually the actress who was on ER for a while (she played a doctor who ended up coming out as a lesbian on the show. No, not the lady with the crutch, the other one. She’s not on the show anymore, but she’s got a small roll in Memento). So anyway, go and rent it. It’s good.
I get to leave in an hour for the dentist, whoopee. I also have to call a mechanic to get my rear-defroster fixed, as winter will be here, eventually. I think it’s just the connection of the switch to the defroster, but don’t know for sure. So hopefully, it won’t set my back too much, but we’ll see. I need to talk to Marie first to see a good day that she can drop me off at work and pick me up to go get the car, but hopefully I won’t have a problem with getting it in this week. Cars. What a hassle.
