Shave and a haircut

twicketfaceLast night after work, chowed down on a frozen pizza with my lovely wife and then hit up the grocery store. I got the ingredients for baked ravioli, and I promise to post them soon, maybe even tonight. It’s a little on the expensive side (about $10 for the ingredients), but you can get 6 or 8 servings out of it, so not too expensive. Plus, you can freeze the leftovers. I’m a one-man mastication marketing crew.
After we got back, I spent some time on-line (check out the awesome ‘deal’ at www.vagranet.net) and sorted through some junk mail. Then, Marie gave me a haircut. I think it’s pretty cool and it was rather romantic too. She didn’t cut it too short, I think she feared giving me a buzz cut. But I figure that this way, I can get it trimmed every few weeks and not have it be so drastic when I do get it cut. I’ll miss Mary, my hairdresser with the breath-smelling breath, but we’ll both just have to move on.
Spent the rest of the night watching the first half of the MNF game and reading more of To Kill A Mockingbird. Such a good book, and a lot funnier than I thought it would be. Phone rang around 9:45 and it was Stupid Terry. He always calls me and disguises his voice (poorly) and makes me think it’s someone else. Last night he was a Discover card salesman. He gave me a $2,000 discount or something, and then broke out into giggles. Turns out Noah will be playing his game tonight and Terry asked if I could play two games (vs the Bears and Rams). So that’s the plans for tonight, to hopefully improve from 2-5 to 4-5 and not drop to 2-7. Brian Griese, you will be my off-season acquisition. Thank God I’ve got the Cardinals in my division. Might be stopping by Exclusive Company to get some music too, I’ve been craving Young MC for quite some time. Neato.

I won my fantasy football game, so I’m 4-3-1. I’ve got a bye this week, which sucks because I like the match-ups of my players, but oh well.
I’m excited to exercise tonight.
