Cause I know the power of a question

I coulda swore I hit save.

Guess not. I had typed up an update, but it’s nowhere to be found. Take two.

Last night was a scanning frenzy for the last of the wedding pictures to be put on my website. http://www15.brinkster.com/brianmurton/wedding.htm Enjoy

I also finished up “The Future of History”, interviews with Howard Zinn. What a great, great book and what a great, great man. Wow. There is hope, it’ll just be a struggle.

Tonight I’m going glove shopping because I froze my damn hands off this morning, defrosting my car windows. Down with winter! Maybe more reading too, otherwise I’ve got some major backing up I could do on my computer. Something I always say I’m going to do, but never take the time. A good defragment and back up would set my mind at ease.

[profile] xjustinx is my hero, in more ways than one.

Random thoughts of the day:
My 3 wishes would be the ability to be fully rested after only 1 hour of sleep, peace as the only solution, and a maximum wage. Dream a little dream.

I would like to learn the martial arts. I think I’d be a lot more willing to stand up for my beliefs if I could defend myself. But is that what martial arts should be used for?

I just realized that going back and saving all of my old journal entries would be a bit of a waste, since they slowly get deleted after a while. Still, I’ve got 80+ entries that I could keep. Might be fun to review in 10 years. Will I still keep a journal in 10 years? I’m feeling old…

Must. Have. Tegan and Sara. Now.

It is fun...

I review journal entries from when I first started keeping one in 8th grade. It is pretty funny. Everything from my handwriting changes, to some of the stupid things I say (nothing new).

yeah, I've got some old entries that I saved on the computer that should be interesting. Funny stuff. I'm sure that my online journal is less 'real' than anything I've kept private, but I think it's pretty accurate.

When are you leaving for St. Louie?

I leave tomorrow at 1:15. I am getting up at 7am. I need to make a quick stop in Wadsworth. I don't know how that will go, we will see. I hope that I get all that done. I am a little worried about finding my way around there. It is a pretty big place. I am out of O'Hare.

Give your self plenty of time to get through the airport, I've heard that security is still tighter than your behind.

Thanks :)

I've got a lot of Tegan and Sara (maybe 10 or 12 songs?) How many Cds do they have available? I must do some shopping soon, for they will rock the plastic off my ghetto blaster, for sure. I really want to find more female-led musical groups, as most of my stuff is white male fronted. Nothing wrong with that, but I want to be more well rounded. So any other bands you can recommend (that fall outside the MTV demographic) would be much appreciated. Not that you strike me as the System of a Down crowd ;)
